Maureen Tilley is a registered dietitian and graduate of Mount Saint Vincent University. She was born and raised in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, where she lives. She has a passion for nutrition and loves to experiment with new recipes to prove that healthy foods taste delicious. She has made raising awareness about the health risks of eating too much salt a major focus of her dietitian practice.

Sandra Nowlan is a prize-winning cook, author and food scientist with degrees from Acadia, Dalhousie and Cornell universities. She uses the DASH guidelines to offer appealing, tasty dishes for breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. She lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
